Storytelling for events

Ideal either as a stand alone event for children or as an activity to keep the children entertained at a wedding, family party, barmitzvah."Stories and storytelling" gives children the chance to enjoy stories and storytelling at your special event.

As an author of children's books, professional storyteller and mother of two, I offer a programme tailored to the needs of your particular event. A typical session will last between one and two hours. All my sessions include telling stories from around the world, and other appropriate entertainment. The stories are a mix of traditional tales and others which I have made up myself. All encourage the children to take part and help tell the story.

Where the event is stand-alone, such as a children's party or where there is sufficient space for the children to move around and make some noise without disturbing the adults eg a separate room at the venue where you are holding your party, my story sessions can include a range of linked arts and crafts activites, music, games and dance. In addition, if you are looking for a going home gift that is really different - why not order some signed copies of "Tales from my Treasure Chest" which incorporates some of the most popular stories from my sessions.
